Strong Security Checks at Dhupguri Prior to Independence Day

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 14th August, 2017: Today throughout the day strong security checks were carried out by security personnel throughout the town following the directives from the upper quarters. Though, this is routine, yet this time it is heightened up following the municipal elections at Dhupguri.
Presently, voting in 6 booths and counting of votes on 17th August is pending. Looking into the crucial stage, the security personnel didn’t left any stone unturned for checking the transport services.
Sniffer dogs were used to check the bags and baggages of passengers in the Dhupguri Bus Stand. The process went on for many hours throughout the day. Not only the passenger vehicles various other places were also searched in the process.
